Why does this game feel the need to RE-load UI resources every time you zone or evac or anything?? I've at times spent 30 seconds to a minute just loading UI resources after an evac within the same zone. There is no excuse for that. An evac/revive within the same zone should be nearly instantaneous since all you're doing is moving your character from one point in the zone to another. That's almost like if you had to reload the game each time you get a rez. I know that this is to do with crappy coding put in the game by SOE but if DB would fix it, I'd be eternally grateful as that would save me 100's of compound hours on loading screens.
I've been having the same problem for a while..... everything else runs smooth.... loading UI resources is awful (most of the time)
Edit your eq2.ini file, or if you don't have one, make one and add this line to it: cl_load_ui_resources_timeout 0
