WHile looking at the marketplace, I saw a cloak that would fit with the brew day outfitr I was creating. I clicked on it and it dsiplayed properly along WITH the brewmister's backback I was currently using as an appearance item. Yay, I thought and bought. Boo, I said when I got it and they overwrite each other. Any known reason why the dressing room thinks it's ok, but the game world doesn't?
The only reason I have never bought a visible backpack is for this reason. Same thing happened to me, i saw the preview in the marketplace, and one matched quite nicely with my cloak, then a guildy told me about how they dont stack, so I never bought it. heheh
Probably because in the persona options, showing cloaks and backpacks are separate choices. There would need to be a "cloak and backpack option" or something like that. In any event, the preview window and dressing room windows should not show something that can't happen in game. That's like false advertising.
