    I'm going to start copy/pasting my old homeshow houses and creations to a single thread with this fresh start. We'll see how that works out! :)

    EDIT (March 9, 2022): I recently returned after a long multi-year break. Unfortunately most of my image links are broken. At some point I'll either take new screenshots to replace the broken ones or just create a new master post. In the meantime, there are some images that still display further down in this thread! :)

    Skyblade Skiff in Qeynos Capitol District
    Halls of Fate (Directory: HoFame or Massive Homes)

    Around December 2011 my skiff was revamped. Basically, my guildmate Gerrick (who did all of the structural work on this home) thought of a solution for my ever-growing collection by utilizing the space better and it now accommodates everything quite well and I can always add to it as needed. Before the most recent LoN expansion release I was missing 5 paintings.. I have collected one or two from the newest expansion but haven't unlisted the house yet to add them in.

    In the heart of the gallery there is a room dedicated to the gods of Norrath, here's part of it (and no Qho photo-bomb this time, he behaved and stayed behind me!):

    Trimia's Modern Wantia Abode
    a simple Maj'Dul apartment in Maj'Dul
    Halls of Fate Server (Directory: HoFame or Small Homes)

    In a 2-day binge I finished this Mara inspired house.

    Since it's a two room house I almost busted the item count just getting in all of the walls, ceilings, floors and the stove. After using a crafted +100 expander I was able to put in some actual furniture. The stove is my favorite part, and while the ceiling and walls took a lot of work (I'm very slow with the layout editor), the stove was the hardest to get to my happy point.

    For this home I wanted to try and make it akin to the Mara houses but with some modernized upgrades. First I'd like to share two screenshots I took in the Village of Shin and used for reference as I was building this:

    Refreshment in Maj'Dul (Trimia)
    Astronomer's Tower in Qeynos Capitol District
    Halls of Fate (Directory: HoFame or Medium Homes)

    This is a home I worked on for quite a while. I really didn't do anything too elaborate to this one. When I first saw the second level of the Astronomer's tower I thought, this would be a great place for a bar! It ended up as a restaurant/grill on the lower level, bar on the second, and casino on the top level.

    Maj'Dul Chateau (Trimia)
    a Maj'Dul Mercenary residence in Maj'Dul
    Halls of Fate (Directory: Medium Homes)

    This is yet another house I worked on over a span of several months.

    For this home I wanted a simple, cozy home feeling of a small family. I really like the way the walls in the Maj'Dul homes go well with so many different themes and left them mostly untouched. The rest of the decor I tried to stay with a white marble, mahogany and blue theme. I had some leftover white marble pieces at the end and had fun filling up empty space by creating a few display stands.

    Residence of the Blades (Xata)
    Residence of the Blades in Freeport
    Everfrost (not on directory)

    This is nothing spectacular but I worked on and off for a few months on this home and am proud of the end result.

    The home is actually my husband's. We had a slight misunderstanding on which of his chars was going to claim it, and I thought it was going to be his SK and brainstormed up a fighter-centric theme. He ended up claiming it on his Inquisitor, and once that sunk in I told him tough cookies, she was now a warrior!

    With this house I was mostly aiming for making the floors bearable to look at and provide some basic direction with designated areas. I ended up leaving 465 item count for him to play with still at the end, and hopefully he'll fill it out more and more over time since there are definitely some barren areas.

    1. The entrance hall with its warrior statue display.

    2. The captain's bed chamber, with scribing desk and privacy screen for sleeping.

    3. The barracks for trainees. The newer halfling ladders work great with the bunk beds.

    5. The training pit.

    7. Cooking station, couldn't resist making another Mara-esque wood stove.

    Creative Creations!

    Here's a couple of my current creative creations on the Halls of Fate server. :)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I made this in my dungeon, Keepers of the Ages.
    [IMG]
    It used:
    • 1 ornate raised platform
    • 2 blue marble poles
    • 9 pristine faydark vases
    • 13 love letters
    This final boss in my dungeon is why I made the clock, linking since it's a bigger pic: http://twitpic.com/88l5dp/full
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I had made a carnival area for the Ribbitribbitt's Park house on Everfrost, here's a few pics of it. This wasn't fully their finished state but pretty close. There were some awesome projects that others put in as well--go check out the home (should be in the Hall of Fame directory) if you haven't!

    Candy Stand (thanks to Obann for suggesting candy canes on the hooks!):

    Diamond Ring Toss:
    [IMG]

    Pillow Jumping Pit.. this was supposed to be a ball jumping pit but that would've killed the remaining item count!:
    [IMG]

    Offhand I don't remember the exact numbers of everything I used. I put this together over the course of several hours. The structures were primarily the ash building blocks. If anyone is wondering though I would be happy to go back and figure it out!

    Those are great, Cyliena! They all look nice and cozy.. :) And I loved loved loved how you recreated the stoves from Mara! Great job! I'm gonna take your idea and create a single post for all my houses when I finally get around moving my haunted cabin to the new forums.. plus screenshots of other homes I have published.. ;)

    Thanks! The Mara stove has been one of my favorite things to try to make... if only we had a wok in-game to go with it! ;)

    My only regret on the old forums was keeping my homes in different posts. Hopefully this method works better and doesn't become too laggy to load!

    Creative Creations!

    Some more of my creative creations in my guild hall (Crusaders of Neriak in North Freeport on Halls of Fate).

    Wellspring of Nightmare
    This is the original Wellspring of Nightmare I created. I use the singular form of nightmare because at the time there was only one lost soul!
    [IMG]

    Wellspring of Nightmares
    This is the current version of the wellspring. More souls have found their way there!
    [IMG]

    I don't recall the exact number of materials used, but I used the Grobb Stone Benches for the outside. There is a Watery Platform at the center with Lost Souls underneath the platform (to hide the skull that sits on the ground). Finally, my guildmate Mazra had the idea to place one Misty Blue Tile and one Misty Red Tile right on top of the water, giving it the extra glow. It's much cooler to look at in person, imo. :) Here's a brief video I took of it as well:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Pool Table
    This originally used 16 Wantia Armoires for its border, but I recently changed that into 4 Sumac Dividers (the building block ones--2 tall & 2 wide, I think). There's also pristine eggs for the "balls" (trying to come up with something better for that still), 6 azurite chalices, 2 mossy tiles for the table top and baneful pokers nearby for the pool cue sticks.
    [IMG]
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Santa Glug's Sleigh
    This one I'm quite proud of. I messed up saving it in the layout before we changed guild halls early this year and had to set it back up, but thankfully it's a nice reproduction of my sleigh from last year. I used 7 Reindeer Plushies, Santa Glug's Sleigh, Santa Glug Plushie, 8 Gold and White Mounted Fairy Lights and 6 Prismatic Clouds.

    I really like the wellspring of nightmares. The clock really made me ooh and ah also. The art gallery is my favorite, very nice work.

    Jazabelle was busy "eeheheheheeeing!" about the new matoppie curtains earlier on the homeshow channel, and I jokingly suggested that someone make a house full of curtains for her.

    Then I thought.. wait, that's a fantastic idea!

    So I present to you the House of Curtains! 242 matoppie curtains for your clicking pleasure. I don't know how long I'll keep it available... either until I get bored with it or whenever I decide I *really* need those 200+ curtains back. ;)

    Wantia Desert Homestead (Cyliena)
    a simple Maj'Dul apartment in Maj'Dul
    /way -132, 138, 117
    Halls of Fate (Directory: HoF or Small Homes)

    Wow, it's been quite a while since I've posted a fully finished home! I currently have several projects going (about three or four partway done), and have simply been too flighty lately to finish any of them, but finally decided to buckle down and complete this one that I started earlier this year.

    I really enjoyed making my Modern Wantia Abode house before, but I was never completely happy with it. The walls in Maj'Dul homes can be very difficult to work with and I had left the doorways uncovered because of this. I decided to revamp my wantia home, which turned into not just a duplication, but a partly unique creation of its own. The floor and ceiling layouts I had from my prior project did save me a lot of time, however the walls were completely redone, this time using erudite bookcases instead of white marble tiles. I also eventually changed the floor tiles to use the adoration tiles, which is a much nicer look, I think. The final item count was 277/300, after using just the crafted expander.

    This home is published on the Halls of Fate server leaderboards for now; however, if home sales are finally put in, this one is one of my candidates for selling. :) Directions on how to find it are on the top of this post! Here's some pictures:

    Wonderful collection of works here Cy! The Art Gallery is my favorite and the carnival items in Ribbitribbitt's house, just adorable!

    On the recent Maj Dul house; I love the texture the mats give the walls and your little custom fabric holder, how neat!

    It looks like you made 2 or more rooms out of the main room that you have that empty picture of (wow, that was an awkward sentence)? Looks cool, either way. ;->
