Because. What are you talking about? If you mean when you get an instanced mission that you have to wait a short time before you can zone in? It is because the instance does not exist until it is created for you. The first time you tell the NPC "ready" (or whatever the word is to zone in), the server starts creating the instance. Thus, say "ready" once, wait 20 seconds, then try again and you should get in.
i assume hemeans from the multi hail steps. Where you have to wait 2 or so seconds between each of the hails. But its better than having to have 15 steps saying hail firiona vie.... I get what they were trying to do, give it lore. If they didnt split it up, it would be a giant wall of text
He's referring to the annoying NPC hailing thing. Not only do they require multiple hails, you have to space out the time between the hails, or you get the message "you must wait a moment."
I like how it's impossible to read the lore now because of all the spam hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail hail
There is a timer between the Hails because if you Hail too fast like half of the quests break as the script bugs out and doesn't do things that happen AFTER Hails happen like 90% of the time
With the number of quests with multiple hail / pause / hail steps, I'm beginning to think its an expansion feature. Sure hope I don't have to pay SC to upgrade it.
Ok... Now that I've finally stopped laughing uproariously about how apt this is... Can I "like" it about 10 billion times?
any actually read the dialog? anyone really even care about the lore? i think most people goto <insert EQ strat site> read what it says to do, do that, and not even bother reading the game text. Would be nice if it just played the audio or something.
I read NONE of the dialogue, if a website says "fire" is the trigger, I say "fire" and click through all the rest, or just click the blue link text and move on lol Like Chris Rock said "I LOVE NOT TO KNOW!" Sostenes
