yes ive alreayd bugged it last week when i encountered it , several times. this mob appears out of nowehre, can hit you but doesnt take damage shield damage, and can not be hit back by anyone or anything mercs pets aes wahtever. ive encountered it numerous times in corathus creep since it became a hotzone.
Those are part of a mini raid event from what I remember. Theres 3 or 4 and you kill them to spawn a Taskmaster with Elemental Plane level loots. They would sometimes bug out and werent hittable and someone had to kite them until everyone zoned/camped. When you zoned back in and they had reset, you could hit them.
no, you cant. this same mob in the same area everytime ive zoned out died come back etc with many diff toons. theyre never damageable, but its just the 1 mob. and when you fd it off it fd's too it appears, lays down anyway. the fact its still here and still bugged and a hotzone is prettydumb considering how long ago the expansion's been out IF its the same mob. i ahve spent a TON of time in this particular zone over the last 6 years and i have never seen this before it became a hotzone, but i see it every time i come now. when it's on your etw you cant target it either you click and it falshes on targetbut disappears again too fast to even try to harmtouch it if you have an sk.
Which part of the zone are you seeing it in? They've been in the Northeast part of the zone since the beginning as triggers, though I can't say when the last time I was actually in CC was. They've always been buggy but now it sounds like its out of control.
I just checked on test, and theyre all in the Northeast Corner where they belong, with no funny behavior at the moment. All are killable. When you kill them a new untargetable one spawns which is non aggro until you fight with the boss. At 60% health they all just became targettable and attacked. Im guessing that if you kill the boss and not them, they stay up and bug out. Ill see in a minute
Yup, if you kill the raid guy, leave them up and drop aggro, they return to spawn point and are untargetable. Then they attack and it says Pain and Suffering tries to hit you, I can riposte, but it doesnt drop their health at all. They're max hit is 533. I can see them in the extended target window, but can't click on them there. Very very sucky for a hotzone I bugged it on test with a step by step way to reproduce it. They just need to despawn on Taskmaster's death. Should hopefully get fixed quick
this is north of the river west of center definitely not northeast its NW or NNW so dont think same mob. possible it got moved or wahtever but yeah different location. definitely bad thing for a hotzone though. wouldnt hurt me but im not there just have a group of 50s there
Its the same mob they seem to have a huge aggro radius. I don't see any additional ones over in that area, so they might be warping to you or something Untargettable, unkillable mobs that hit way harder than any trash in the zone. When they swing at you are they saying pain and suffering hits you?
could be same ones like i said jsut been moved on our server. this one is showing up rigth around teh farthest west bridge over the river. jsut annoying that it never goes away. ive seen the ones in teh NE area you mentioned but they dont do it like this one does. done with it til next alts i make at least now heh. anyone wanna go in and fix this stupid thing? cant imagine tryign to go there to use the hotzone as a solo/molo newer player and have that thing pop up over and over
Okay, the Toilers are messed up and need to be fixed somehow. They're dangerous. Kill "normal con" Toilers to spawn "raid-con" Toilers. Kill these to spawn Taskmaster XVII. This is where it gets problematic. During the fight with the Taskmaster, more Toilers spawn and attack his target. These Toilers come from various places nearby in the zone, but not always just where the "killable" Toilers spawn. The problem? Depending on the length of the fight, more Toilers can end up on you than are normally in the zone. Worse... not only are they unkillable, they're UNTARGETABLE. My Berserker has had a number of them on him after the fight and decapped repeatedly during ripostes, but was never able to get one targetted and none of them ever died, even to crit decaps. When the Taskmaster dies, these Toilers roam off back to wherever each one spawned and collapse... but they don't go away. They have rather large aggro range, too. This means a hapless explorer of this normally-safe zone can end up with one OR MORE of these unkillable, untargetable gnomeworks beating on them as they wander the zone. They can be faded or FD'd off, but otherwise the only way to get them off you is to zone out or die. For the level-appropriate characters who are in this zone killing Sporali and Silverfins as part of their daily grind, this pretty much ends in one of the two latter regularly, since a Necro or SK with several raid mob adds on them will have trouble channeling a FD and nobody will have a fade. They're a hazard to the entire zone, and I don't think they go away unless the zone goes down... which can be trouble if the Taskmaster is killed several times between patches. They're not a terrible idea for a mini-raid mechanic, but the devs REALLY need to make ALL these kinds of Toilers just despawn when the Taskmaster dies. Otherwise, they're just a HUGE pointless threat to all the level 50-60 toons using this level 50 hotzone.
We've made a number of changes to the TaskMaster XVII event in Corathus. The 4 Creep Reaper toilers that need to be killed to spawn Taskmaster XVII are now body type construct The Creep Reaper toilers that assist Taskmaster XVII are now targetable All NPCs associated with the event will despawn when the event resets Taskmaster XVII is no longer mezzable, rootable, or charmable Edit: These changes are not yet Live, but should go in with the next update.
Ok as of this date the Creep Reaper Toiler right at entry to zone in from Innothule is untargetable and kills mercs and pets and me if I stay in zone. I even try ../assist off my merc and cant target it. Really hard to do the lvl 50 hotzone task with these guys jumping us.
We are updating on the 21st. The changes to the Creep Reaper toilers should be in place when the servers come back up.
