Those are the two best damage symp augs from a base standpoint. Exotic Gem is also okay. Some do take the time to match weapons/symps to Furies (eg using all fire symps under Ro).

Elegant Gem is a DoT.

even though all the fire symp augs are four years old at this point

meaning, to be clear - it's really bad for wizards/mages. Don't use this.

Noone should ever waste a buff slot for a dot proc lol.

DoT aug are actually an excellent way to secure a high spot in the parse;

coordinate with all the other wizard and mages, load the boss with those useles debuff, watch the necro's dots bounces off... top the parse.

1. One Enchanter in raid.

2. Enchanter = in melee group. <-No targeted Haze @ Wiz/Mage Zomg!!!

3. Proccing haze on Mage pet who's owner will have lame DPS since you're not in group

4. Alternate Haze proc w/ Nuke and throw in Eye + Chaotic Mez if you're an overachiever

5. IOG + BW + GOC in logical succession.

Win EQ. #1 on parse.
