I am guessing that we're all just making wild assumptions and the truth is likely something completely different... also... we'll almost assuredly never actually find out what that truth is. But keep playing the game!
DBG splits games into multiple units...divestiture is imminent. Pantheon throws her a giant pile of equity just about the time they FINALLY reach pre-alpha-maybe. Not far fetched. Then again that opportunity could be something like becoming an imagineer if those still exist.
This ^^, EQ3 will be under a different studio so that all the lifetime subs will also have to buy EQ3 ;-)
