Fixed Windowed EQ screen randomly shrinking (minimizing).

The windowed EQ screen on my laptop is randomly minimizing down to 1/4 the size (positioning itself on the top right corner of the screen) and when I reset it the UI is all messed up. There doesn't seem to be anything that triggers it because it has done it while I was eating and not actively playing. So far it has happened 3 times in an hour and at random intervals. Definitely a game breaking bug.

Edit: It also appears that when you manually minimize EQ via the minimize button on the top right of the screen it first minimizes to 1/4 size and then you have to hit it again to fully minimize the screen (this is on my laptop, on my desktop it does the same thing but faster and you only have to hit minimize once).

Edit 2: Screen minimizes after 1 minute of inactivity. This happens even happens when game is ran in Admin mode and Window 8 compatibility checked.

Seconded. This started after today's patch. It happens to me if my screensaver kicks on or if any window is opened above the eq window. We need a fix ASAP

Yes, this began happening today after the patch on my second machine after the screensaver kicked in.

Please fix this! ANY keystroke including Alt+___ other than Alt+Tab is kicking my game down from a maximized window. I use ALT+# to cast spells, ALT+Q, ALT+O, ALT+R, this is awful!

Just came here to report this is also happening to me. Mainly when my screensaver kicks on but also if i tab out. Plz fix this, devs

Same here and its highly annoying.

Need some more likes on this thread, so that it gets some attention. Having to maximize your screen and fix UI 4-5 times an hour isn't something that should be happening and the last patch caused the issue.

Same here, did it before a we started an event, then did it again after it was over. Then it decided to ramp up the rate of which its doing it, done it like six times this past half hour.

EDIT: Oddly enough, it's not done it at all since raids ended and I've been doing the missions.

edit 2: Also for some reason when hitting X to camp, it changes the game window from Maximized to Resizeable and vice versa

This is really annoying... I hope that we dont have to wait until the next monthly patch for this to get fixed. I hit Alt+(any other key) multiple times every hour, and having to maximize are reset my windows it getting really annoying.

PS. Did I mention that this is annoying?

It says fixed internally, no idea what that actually means lol

It usually means that it works on their system now but it takes a patch to push it live.

So we have to play with this for 1 month until it is fixed... really annoying.

Y'all do know how to fix this yourselves, until they implement the correction to whatever broke, right? Just click the little maximize thing at the top right corner of the window.

Yeh cuz I love clicking that little box every few minutes over a 2 hour session!

You must be doing something wrong then. I only had to click it once in a five hour session.

Now mine is shinking down to about a 4x6 inch window. Come on..
