Why are the only two options: ‘4 hour queue’ and ‘no queue’?

Is there no compromise somewhere in the middle?

And can you shed some light on why a second server is not an option instead of being silent like ***holes?

That would cost them money to open another and time....

because the queue logic doesn't work. From the behavior it is obviously some hackneyed coding that was cobbled together

What logic? There is no logic needed for a queue. Its just a list. The problem is they have only tried two options: extremely low server cap, and no server cap. The former is unplayable because of 4hr queues and the latter is unplayable because of game-breaking lag. How about something in the middle?

Since launching the discord server they barely do anything on their forums and even then I think Dreamweaver posts the most on there. I only look in now and again but everyone else seems pretty quiet outside of the player base.

Seems like they might only have a ‘4 hour queue’ and ‘no queue’ switch. I think it is directly related to the use of "8-bit unsigned integers" that are all over in the code. They use 8-bit unsigned integers to count the max players that are able to be logged on to a server at a time.

    My favorite reply.

Also, you might be onto something. Maybe they can only increment the player cap by 255 at at time. lol. With Planar Power AA and +Heroic CAP, it might even be closer to 500.
