When to move to non-hDEX augs

I've heard that hDEX starts to provide diminishing returns after 4000. Is there a point were melee DPS types should start converting over to hSTR?

It depends on the class and when that class reaches the crit rate cap. I don't know what those numbers are though because I don't care that much. Someone around here does though.

The post softcap return reduction doesn't effect the crit part of "hdex"

As for when it depends if you raidlog or actually play the game outside of raids

I am most concerned with BST during raids. I'll check my logs after raid tonight. Even with tribute running, I don't think I'm at 100% crit rate yet.

My BST has a 125 WAR persona. WAR must have a higher innate crit chance, since the WAR seems to be hitting 100% crits in group content (with shm and bard) even without tribute

Warrior and Berserker are the 2 classes that can hit crit cap under 4k

probably never unless they rework stats at some point, because the other heroics are awful, and if any future raid or group mechanic is a -1000 to dex debuff or something youll want the extra hdex to cover the loss.

As a raid beastlord with full hdex aug, I switched out five of the hdex to hstr augs recently and it was a clear dps loss on the parse, both raids and dummies in the hall. I do not remember the numbers but it was a drop.

I think if I was to switch Id go to Hsta instead of Hstr.

Checked logs tonight. As a BST, i am seeing crit rates in the low 80% range at 4208 hDEX. So I still need to pack on the hDEX.

I took a look at the calculator. I did not appreciate how much Auspice mattered. I've changed my mind on Rangers. They are awesome

enough rangers and everyone is make crit the whole time.

How much does CoP4 add to the mix (when auspice is down, of course).

Circle of Power IV, clickie effect from Rage of Rolfron. Usually used as a filler if you don't have enough rangers to keep auspice up.

Found part of my answer here at lunch time. Circle of Power IV Effect. I just wonder how that translates into actual overall crit chance, if someone could figure that out for me.

You just change the Auspice number from 225 to 130 is how that translates. So overall better than just haste or cry carnage, but worse than auspice. But a good filler.

Please know that I haven't updated that sheet in a couple expansions. I do know that someone else took the torch and made a Version 2.5 in the Berserker Discord.
