Hey all, just wondering what type of items I should be selling to vendors? I don't know how to determine if an item is more valuable than vendor price or something I should keep. Some of the pricier items I can sell to vendors don't have much of a description when I inspect them.
If an item doesn't have a trade skill tag, and has no stats, you can usually sell it to a vendor without worry. Everything else you will have to research what it is used for, or if it's good, or take the risk of losing out on a potential sale.
In the early stages of a new server, I loot everything and sell anything that has any value. The coin is more important to buy food, spells and what not.
Anything that doesn't have "Quest" in the description and isn't an item you'll wear or hold is probably sellable. Exceptions would be things like Spider Silk and Spiderling silk, which can be used in Tailoring and sold to Tailors via the Bazaar.
