The focus effects the epic pet. It's basically needed by all mages/necros/bsts in Luclin. It makes the epic mage pet BiS til PoP. The water pet pre pop hits for 68 max the epic pet with minion on it hits for 85... A bit more the 4 damage. In fact the water pet in PoP with the same effect hits for 84... The water pet in PoP has 4000 HPs with the same focus the epic pet has 4,500.

Stop pretending like the gear is trash. We get it you love having OP gear. But don't be afraid they aren't going to take it out of the game, you will still be able to sell it on Teek.

I said "unless they've changed the tables" which, they could very well have, but if they haven't here is where I'm seeing +4 dmg and 8% hp.

Those aren't accurate for TLPs because the pets are nerfed and slowly get un-nerfed until they are back to live standards after PoP. His info is pulled from years ago and pets got buffed then nerfed then eventually get un-nerfed. That chart does not reflect that. I know the post is from 2017, but he states the info was pulled from an older source.

Yeah it's old, even 2017 info is old these days so who knows I guess.

If I remember tomorrow I'll log in and parse it, but pets being nerfed for tlp and going from +4 to +17 as poster above indicates isn't really a nerf.

I read it also bumps up the level of the epic pet, which will make the pet hit more often also.
