Topic should say it all, nothing in patch about it changing but it has changed and for the worse. Took away one of the only appealing things about the class we had left.
Secretly fixed with the October 18, 2017 patch. https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/game-update-notes-october-18-2017.244451/ They probably figured out what was causing it with all the unresistable spells they've added to the RoS expansion.
Yeah, SPA 378 (Resist Other SPA) didn't do anything with base2 so it was just tallying them up, which was over 100% for bards.
Here are examples of spells that bards resisted (all SPA 0): Cyclonic Sickle (46052) - Raid: The Journey Home (The Void) Pillar of Claws (48014) - Raid: Defense of the City (Arx Mentis) Blood Splash (46530) - Raid: The Summoning of Droga Everburning Breath (47544) - Raid: An Ancient Dragon Boulder Throw (49974) - EoK Giants I believe this is what the blob in Raid: Principal Vicarum Nomia (Arx) would hit you with that bards also resisted: Frigium Letum (48079) The Principal Indagatrix Lucia event in Arx also had some stuff bards resisted iirc.
