Were there any raid groups that weren't guild based? I think there's a term for that approach to raiding, I can't remember it. Not alliance...I can't remember it. Anyway, from my experience (which is limited to like 4 servers), such organizations work but are either lacking in member discipline or leadership to be top tier. Either way, just curious if that existed on Fippy/Vulak?
Not on Vulak - I think in the very early days a few guilds may have worked together some, but I don't recall any non guild raid groups. I do remember doing some pickup raiding with Kuk every now and then, and occasionally you would see LOGA or EoE members looking for some extra people to down something as a small group, but as for organized raiding, I don't remember anything like that.
That sort of thing requires a raid leading core who hates actually running a guild. It happens on some servers, it didn't on fippy.
