Water Pet - Backstab

    Do I need to position my water pet behind the mob to get the max dps out of him (backstab?) or does It not matter?

    Pets will only backstab from the front if they have weapons. Even with weapons they backstab at about 1/2 the frequency from the front. 4% front vs 8% rear. Min/Max damage is the same from the front or rear per parses from before this most recent patch.

    To actually answer your question yes they need to be behind the mob to get max DPS. ;)
