Vid Card

    Does anyone else have a problem with EQ not recognizing their vid card? GTX 1060 not showing up, just the onboard. doesn't happen with any other game just eq

    I don't have any experience with this issue, so take it with a grain of salt, but you could try disabling your onboard video on your motherboard's BIOS and see if EQ will then detect your discrete video card.

    I had that problem when I played on a laptop. I think I concluded that it really was using the card but the launcher setup menu didnt recognize it.

    When using a laptop, you need to use the nVidia tools to tell EQ to use the nVidia video card... if you really want to. EQ really doesn't need it though. I run 6+ chars on the HD 530 video card without an issue. Only new games really need the high perf. card.
