Velious Helm Graphics Not Visible With Old Models

Upon finally turning in and receiving my Custom Warlord's Crown today, I was disappointed to find out that Velious helm graphics do not show up for other players when I'm using old models. This is with the proper Velious textures enabled in the eqclient.ini file. This is apparently an old bug that was in the bug tracker before that function moved to these forms, so I am reporting it again.

The apparent workaround is to illusion to a race you have new models enabled for, re-equip the helmet, then click off the illusion. This has to be done every time you zone to see custom helmet graphics on old model players.

Needless to say, this would be a nice bug to see fixed along with the regular helms not showing to other players with old models unless they take similar steps.

Yes, but for others to see it, you have to take it off, and put it back on, after THEY zone in. Known for years, never fixed.
