Snazlieu the Shadow - Always Follow The Money - non-aggro mobs such as the florists and the floating plant pieces will spam combat text even though they don't aggro. They spam it from every hit, so it clogs dialogue entirely.

Valiant Deflection - Heals for 13k and up to 27k crit, but when getting the first rank in "Glorious Reflection" that's supposed to up the heal amount.... it lowers the heal amount. While I know the second and third ranks of Glorious Reflection should increase it above normal values, the first rank shouldn't decrease it.

Don't know if this is considered a bug or not but in both RoF beta and CoTF beta the mage's had an aa called Modulation Specialist, it was to increase the power of our modulation shards. We do not have that aa. why?
  3. Uxtalzon Augur

Bixies in the Bixie Warfront mercenary instances sometimes drop "Cloth Cap". Not sure if it's supposed to be actual loot or what, but cloth caps? C'mon. :p

Jacyll's Jailbreak - the three bixies that attack the honey-crazed moles can quad and hit as if mitigation doesn't matter worth a crap. Anyone getting hit by one bixie for 12259 four times in a row by just one round when three can be attacking you is not pretty.

Edit to add: the camouflaged assassins after the moles are just as bad. They can appear and one-round just about anyone. Tons more HP than others. Not saying they need retuning, but not sure either if that's how they were intended.

any word on the sk vendor for cotf?
  5. Koutarou Elder

I did. The attunement happened (yellow text and all), the tickbox did not get ticked though.

It seems arbitrary too, spoke to someone in a channel said that one boxed toon was getting ticks, the other wasn't, and they were going the same route.
  6. Beimeith Lord of the Game

Wizard AA Force of Flame greys out new AA Eradicate Magic. Completely unrelated AAs.

Many new Collection items do not have the Zone listed in the Lore tab when inspecting them.
  7. Beimeith Lord of the Game

    Also:

Item ID 47029 is dropping in Ethernere Tainted West Karana. I'm pretty sure that isn't intended.

Item ID 1001 is dropping as well. I forget which zone that came from though, but I don't think it is intended, lol.
  8. Naugrin Augur

Cloth cap dropped in a dead hills heroic adventure today.

WK mission (and raid?) Doomscale Horde still allows the exploit posted in its beta thread. Would be nice to get that hotfixed before people start getting banned.

Is there any vendor which sells
    a) the new tradeskill's BOOKS
    b) the either " not tradeable" or "buyable in Ethernere zones only" components?

I found a whole village of tents with Tradeskill Tables in Dead Hills, but no Ethernere-stuff equipped tradeskill vendors at all.

No Time for Bandits quest from Tunguska in Ethermere gives no appreciable (or maybe none at all) aa. It only gives 75pp.

Since it's not on the patch notes, I'll post it since it's probably not looked into.
Found an odd bug that made an heroic mission impossible to finish.
The first time we did the mission it worked fine, the second time something that seems not wanted happened.

Heroic mission in Dead Hills : The Hills are alive.
After hailing the ogres at the beginning of the mission, they all moved inside the zone when they shouldn't have. Result, step 2 was not possible.

Step 2 : Rescue Udwoona's bunnies 0/4 (The Dead Hills)

The ogres around them probably was counting as mobs, and then they couldn't be saved, the ogres couldn't be attacked, so the mission was bugged and we gave up after cleaning the whole zone.

static spawns in Shadeweaver's are not respawning. Many, many fewer wandering spawns as well. It was NOT like this before the expac patch.

The track window is driving me NUTS!!!

Since the expansion, when auto update shifts the track list, the selected target changes. So by the time you select a track target and press "Track" ... the target has changed and you are tracking the wrong thing ... grrrr

I have to turn auto update off.
  15. Hiladdar Augur

The mercenary AA status bar does and the mercenary AAs do not get updated correctly when the mercenary gains an AA level. At that point, the status for the merc AA fills up and appears to display 99.9% of a level earned, and does not reset. Zoning appears to sometimes fix this, as does spending AA. The expected is for the screen to update correctly. I am using the default AA experience window. Although this does not crash the game, it does create the uncertainty that once an mercenary dings, they are no longer earning AA.

I am not yet sure if this has been fixed it in the 10/10/13 patch.
  16. Feradach Augur

That's not new. Not for me anyway.

I have been meaning to say something about this every patch now since june, but I waited cause I hoped it would get better and that it maybe was something I did, but in fact it has gotten a little worse every patch. What am I talking about?

Zone Latency (Lag) when pulling multiple mobs.
(Please read on so I can explain, and don't dismiss me as another nutjob user who don't know anything, My profession is a c/c++ coder.)

I have been pulling the same camp in Fort Mech all summer, every patch I have noticed that the threshold for how many mobs I have been able to pull at the same time before zone lags out has gone down. After September 13 (eqgame.exe version) patch it was down to 10 mobs, anything more than that, and zone would start lagging, after the sep 7 patch I can pull only 5 mobs before it starts lagging,
Now, I suppose this behavior could be intentional so stop people from pulling too many mobs, but seriously, 5? that the new threshold?

I do not run any third party tools, I have tried on fresh installed computers, laptops/desktops as well as different internet connections/different countries even to see if it perhaps was my provider that was throttling my connection, but to no avail, I'm pretty sure this is on your side guys.
Too many calculations keeping track/logging of player and mob locations perhaps?

I know there has been problems with the movement hacking detection code since a lot of users where falsely detected/banned recently, maybe this has gone overboard and are now affecting all of us? I understand you need to catch cheaters, but if this code slows the servers down to a halt, its not fun to play for anyone anymore, please balance the security VS playability.

This is not a post about sk swarming, (in fact I pull with my druid and a merc.) Im merely trying to give you an example so you know how to replicate this problem on your side, which is why I choose Fort Mech to bring this to light. Any group pulling a few mobs up there will know what I'm talking about.

For the "What Evil Lurks in the Heart of Gnolls" quest in Oceangreen Hills, the Blackburrow Lurker that you need to kill and loot the supplies has gone missing. He no longer spawns in OGH. I encountered him in an instanced BB quest zone once, but killing him and looting his pouch did not update the quest.

My Mage pet now poofs when I log out. If I cast the pet spell to summon a new one, a pet appears with the same weapons and buffs as the one that poofed, but with a different name.
  19. Axxius Augur

Have you hailed the bunnies? You need to hail them after clearing KOS trash around. And they have a tiny hail radius, you need to literally stand on them to hail.

There is a new Enchanter spell, that I can't remember the name of, that you buy for a few plat, but it tributes for over 100k.
