That building has always turned, if you click it. Now it's going haywire with all the quest mobs, though.
  2. Yinla Ye Ol' Dragon

I thought it got fixed years ago
  3. Yinla Ye Ol' Dragon

Toggle through NPCs has stopped working. :(

I'm not sure why it is happening but my Barbarian Shaman, which was upgraded to Heroic, is KoS to the Invading/Ethernere mobs in Qeynos, but my other two characters (Human Monk and Dwarven Cleric) are indifferent to them.
  5. Mithrandyr Augur

There are no heroes in Qeynos!
  6. Versifier Elder

I have the same issue. My Non-Heroic Barbarian Shaman is also KOS to the invading mobs in Qeynos, Qeynos Hills, and Dead Hills. My Magician(Heroic) and Rogue are not KOS to any of them.
Further testing to see if being KOS was related to True Spirit faction(from epic completion), Deity being The Tribunal , Priest Archetypes, Shaman Class turned up the following:

    Faction
Freshly Created Barbarian Shaman (The Tribunal) KOS
    Deity
Wood Elf Bard (The Tribunal) NOT KOS
Barbarian Beastlord (The Tribunal) NOT KOS
    Racial
Barbarian Beastlord (Mithaniel Marr) NOT KOS
Barbarian Berserker (Rallozs Zek) NOT KOS
    Priest
Wood Elf Druid (Tunare) NOT KOS
High Elf Cleric (Tunare) NOT KOS)
    Shaman
    Guktan Shaman (MIth Marr) KOS
    Vah Shir Shaman (Agnostic) KOS
    Iksar Shaman (Cazic-Thule) KOS

It appears simply being a shaman is causing the KOS issue. Is there some lore reason for this? It is a huge annoyance given many of these mobs see invis and are hitting for 16K+

I am KoS as a human cleric of Qeynos, so don't fret.

Rain of Fear - Chapterhouse of the Fallen mission "Run, You Fools" issue:
(Originally posted in the veteran's loundge, also bug reported in-game)

While playing the mission, our group noticed that NPCs in the first phase were using the "Despair of the Spirit", "Despair of the Soul", and "Despair of the Body" spells multiple times in a row, effectively resulting in a death touch. It is my assumption that the usage of these spells is unintended, as they were introduced in the recent March 31st patch Plane of War patch, and make the mission much more difficult, as random members of the group will die instantly, or be brought to very low HP.

Here are excerpts from the log file demonstrating the usage of those spells by NPCs in the mission :

    Code:
    [Mon May 19 18:14:46 2014] a shambling corpse begins to cast a spell. <Despair of the Body>
    [Mon May 19 18:14:46 2014] a shambling corpse wails
[Mon May 19 18:14:46 2014] Mypet's vitality is leeched by despair.
[Mon May 19 18:14:46 2014] Mypet has been slain by a shambling corpse!
    [Mon May 19 18:14:46 2014] a shambling corpse begins to cast a spell. <Despair of the Spirit>
[Mon May 19 18:14:46 2014] Despair ignites your mana.

I should stress that this is different from the "Aura of Taros" boss aura mechanic of the mission. Not only do the random deaths occur while the group is well ahead of Taros, but being caught by the aura itself results in a different message :
    Code:
[Mon May 19 22:53:51 2014] An undead noble is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:51 2014] GroupSK is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:51 2014] GroupPAL is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:53 2014] GroupSK is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:53 2014] GroupPAL is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:53 2014] Your life drains away. You have taken 35750 points of damage.
[Mon May 19 22:53:55 2014] GroupSK is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:55 2014] GroupPAL is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:57 2014] GroupPAL is drained of life.
[Mon May 19 22:53:57 2014] GroupPAL has been slain by boss aura!

    Steps to reproduce :
    - Take a group to the mission "Run, you Fools!" in Chapterhouse of the Fallen. Our party was composed of PAL SHD MNK SHM MAG NEC/ROG.
    - Play the first phase of the mission. The 2nd phase (Menizzia) seemed to work as normal.
    - Notice the usage of the spells "Despair of the Spirit", "Despair of the Soul", and "Despair of the Body" by the NPCs (a shambling corpse, a corrupted poltergeist, a vile priest), resulting in the instant death of pets and player characters, or very low HP. In particular, look for the message "Despair ignites your mana."
    - Potentially aggravating/triggering factors : leashing of mobs, usage of pets.

The prequest was still buggy Beyond the Barrier, it says kill ten get samples, you have to kill like 50 instead o 10 and pray or an update, luckily my group last night was lucky and got many triggers but its still buggy, the mobs respawn right on top o another once one dies, we had to quickly learn crowd control, glad it was a guild group that knows how to recover and control.

i can replay on this one that it is intended, most people in my guild have one and it does go away ater 30 seconds as intended, the wording on it is wrong.

I have no way to find out if this has been reported in the past:

If you are in an Expedition and the expedition leader goes link dead, the Leader shown in the Expedition Information window remains the link dead person. The only way to update it to show the person who is now leader since the original leader went link dead is to zone, or camp and come back.

Whenever the expedition leader changes for any reason (link dead or someone else is made leader) the window needs to update that information to everyone in the expedition.

    Thank you.

Namer in Plane of War, Rolfron Zek, has all of those Despair of the ... spells in his arsenal.
  13. Yinla Ye Ol' Dragon

Possibly added to the class template and not just to the NPC in that zone.

I wish they wouldn't mess around with this stuff, we had this last year with NPCs in Sanctus mezing everyone, because some bright spark thought they would update what spells NPCs had available to them instead of just the new NPCs in the new expansion.
