Universal Chat server instability

Haven't seen any official info on the instability in the channels, am I wrong to assume they are aware of the issue?

The UCS is working "as designed" and the last time they tried to "make it better" they released an untested "feature" that make things worse in the long run. Oh that silly test server isn't really for testing after all...

While the dev team is aware the UCS is not the best component of the game it is on the list to get fixed...in 2018 or 2022..something like that...other things are more important than fixing the UCS...since it isn't important to the game play at all ....not even a little bit...

Assuming you aren't being sarcastic, the UCS channels are quite helpful when raiding.

UCS is essential to raiding for communication between healers especially for spam channels for heals who is doing what buffs or DI. Rezzing during raids etc etc

I think his statement that you're responding to was tongue-in-cheek.

Clearly you don't know anything about this game...since channels are critical. So critical the dev team dedicates a huge amount of time to making it stable and better...in fact it is #1028 on the list of things to fix...

Once again, weekend time is here, and the UCS system is broken and spamming us with rejoins to all channels every 3 seconds. Can this please be bumped up the priority list?

Its very annoying here im on with a trader and buyer and there getting spammed to death. I never join chat channels or anything but I keep getting this message. either get it fixed or please have a way to filter it so I don't ever see the spam messages anymore.

Parody and sarcasm are pretty dead these days. You can parody things and large numbers of people think you are being serious.

I'm sure there are posters here who seriously believe that chat channels are not needed.

And when it comes to text only posts, it is rather hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic. Tone of voice is very important to detecting sarcasm.
