Underfoot is a great expansion.

In fact, we did have to split several raids to get everyone flagged. And you're prob right, we are very geared on the server event to the point that most alts are BIS. But having a whole raid that went on test, did the thing on our launch night, and cleared it fast was nice.

    Agreed.

Level 90 to 100 is my favorite era in Everquest.

I'm looking forward to it immensely. We made it to Underfoot / Early HOT on Coirnav, but the server was dead (20-40 people on at a time outside of raids), so when Mischief was announced, many of us left. I hated having to go through all the old expansions again, especially the level 70 slog, but it's good to finally be back to where we were. Can't wait for the next few expansions.

TBH I think progression gets easier after T6. The initial missions are a bit excessive, but you do need to adapt. HoT gets easier though and is a less of a speed bump of you are under geared at all.

Ive enjoyed UF so far. Its tough and I think for an 8 week expansion its a little overtuned. I cant imagine being on a non mischief server. Even with Mischief's extra loot we struggle with tanks getting destroyed. Id say 12 weeks is probably more appropriate, but honestly that wouldnt change how fast the uber guilds kill it and the 8 weeks at least gets the smaller guilds who cant kill it out of the expansion faster. So meh, 8 weeks it is.

For the neckbeard guilds that spend time on test/split 6 ways/no life it, its probably fine, but for the more casual guilds its pretty tough and makes more casual players want to quit the game (as we have lost a few already because of its difficulty).

Tanks on raids will get destroyed even with rhodium gear and max AAs. Not much is going to save you against something that can quad 12-15k a hit unless you pop dragon glyph or have 2-4 healers spamming the crap out of you. you can have 3 healers mashing a tank and DI's firing / purple club will still be a common occurance.
