I was doing some quests and I was following the guide in Zam which was really useful. But the guide had me running all over the zone and talking to several people, and none of those steps were required. I know there are some specialist sites that have some quests with only the essential parts, but the one I wanted was nowhere to be seen. So I am wondering if there is some way of tweaking Zam or knowing which steps can be skipped in a quest?
Sometimes steps are interwoven and will apply to next stage or another quest arc or sometimes the small disclaimer that says "you do not need to follow all the steps but just speak to x y and z and turn in the q tip" are overlooked as they are in the comment section. What was the quest in question?
Ahh I forgot to check the comments, but yea I am used to some of the website that give Epic weapon guides, they tell you exactly what parts can be skipped. The Zam walkthroughs seem to show every step whether you need them or not.
If it an older quest , like the epic's the info provided included the lore steps. Folk these days tend to slide past the role playing , unlike in the early days of the game.
