Tormax server, Teek is fine

Next time the devs do up a popular server like teek, i think the second server like Tormax should be slightly changed due to the low populations.

What i recommend and it doesn't need much is to have some bonus incentive such as Free trade only and or a slight increase in XP such as 25% perma.

It is pretty hardcore, as bad as classic EQ. With the low population, most guilds are so small they cannot raid Hate 1.0. You see people doing 6 boxes to do group content, and then quit.

Just saying server was a great idea, however it has changed. Otherwise make it a true classic server with longer unlocks.

Teek is fine, i just feel really bad i paid for a transfer back to teek from tormax. So many nice people over there, kinda getting the shaft.

I'm going to sound like a broken record! Free play on Tormax until the next expansion could/would get the population up for the initial grunt to max. Allow character transfers to Teek for $30 or something.

I still wouldn't play the server myself just because there are others I spend my time one. I did have a look around there and it does seem to have a good player base that is into co-operative play.

Tormax is doing fine thanks. We don't need people on Teek to tell us how to fix it. People on Teek want Tormax changed because they dont like Teek and want to move somewhere. People on Tormax are happy to be on an awesome server.

I am not an officer of any guild, but I am pretty sure that anyone on Tormax who wants to raid is welcome to join a guild that raids. And there are other guilds that are building up nicely and will probably be raiding soon anyway.

So thanks for spending your time thinking about Tormax, but we dont need your changes.

Based on the numerous complaints in this forum, Teek sounds like a horrible trainwreck. Tormax, on the other hand, has been wonderful. And it's specifically because Teek attracted all the wretchedness that Tormax turned out so well.

Tormax is great, there are multiple great guilds to join there that raid if that is your thing. I see no reason to make any changes to it.

I dont understand why Tormax players, who claim to like the server, want to quit playing on it.

That is what is going to happen. All TLPs have massive population decline as you go through the expansions. Starting with a small fraction of people that all other TLPs have had will only hasten the decline into a dead server.

If you all like Tormax so much, you would desperately want something done to induce more people to play there. My suspicion is most of you dont actually dont plan on playing there very long.and therefore dont actually like it as much as you claim. For those of you that do care, you might want to think about supporting something to get more people to play there.

The first poster said he quit and wants to make changes. So that is not a "Tormax player". He is now all Teek.

All of us who say we like it, do not want any changes. The people asking for changes are people who do not currently play on Tormax.

Sure, we have a low pop, but better to play with a small number of like-minded, friendly people, than with 2000 toxic Teekians who seem obsessed with making changes on other servers. If you all hate Tormax and dont understand Tormax players, that is fine, but stop asking the Devs to change it. Just go back to your server and do ... whatever it is you do there.

Larger player base comes with it's own problems.

More people trying to make RL $ via botting, cheating, warping, etc..

If not being around those people means less overall people to be around while you play, sounds like a trade some would take

Tormax is really fun. Just make friends with people. I've never played on a TLP server with more helpful folks than this server. I'm actually advancing my character rather than farming Krono for once.

I never asked for changes now, it is too late. What i am saying is adjustments for the next tlp. Why are so many these days having a very hard time reading. 119 players on Tormax is not a cool environment.
