There is a long thread about this on the Veteran's Lounge Forum, but I think a bug report is warranted so it is brought to the attention of the Devs. This raid has some serious issues since the last changes & the hotfix that was put in did not really help things. Due to the randomness of the event there are many times when there is absolutely nothing to kill / the wrong mobs are up. This makes it very difficult to beat the enrage timer unless you get a lucky combination of spawns. Many guilds who can beat the Velks event and all of T3 are unable to beat this event in its current form due to the issues with it.
Why not? Everything else in this game is. And RNG has always mattered on raids when things are cutting edge or difficult. Anyway, this isn't a bug. Not liking design decision doesn't make it a bug. If you don't want to keep thinking this is some completely random problem, then stop having your entire raid sans people in the middle run from room to room. Put 1 person in every room at all times. Watch the stuff magically start spawning more evenly.
