That doesn't make any sense at all. The argument for needing truebox to be removed in later expansions is that the player base falls off overtime. Plenty of servers start with truebox and do just fine. The only difference here was the starting expansion and thus truebox being in place was not the direct cause of the failure - a complete lack of interest in the playerbase was. The idea truebox killed Miragul is a complete fallacy.

You can always just wait and play there yourself when the server gets to that point.

The argument against truebox isnt one dimensional. It's not just population. It's also that the later game is revolved around doing progression quests which are not soloable by most people. It's also that classes because more interactive, so the widely used I S Boxer is used on live. And It's also that in general if we are paying attention to the timeline, way more people started 2-3 boxing as the expacs progress.

your response makes no sense considering what I said. o_O

How does waiting for a server to get to TSS resolve the fundamental issue that 95% of tss goes under utilized because TLPs are top-heavy (exactly what I posted).

Galaxy brain response right there. Nice work. /applaud

You've stated you enjoy TSS's leveling path & good for you; you can still enjoy it, no matter where the server starts. Outside of personal preference, 'content utilization' for lower level grinding means absolutely nothing, as long as there are options vs overcrowding (which picks solve nicely). Even if a server started in TSS, folks most likely would level elsewhere but more to the point, the server would be in the same state either way - it simply does not matter in regards to the server's health. And you know this... you just want someone to level there with you because you personally like the expansion. That's fine, but doesn't sell as anything else but that.

Eh, I think you're way overstating the later game when it comes to being "interactive" but I will give you that you need a min of 3 people to requests most group progression tasks.

I'm always amazed at the recyclers who say, "well people would just go back the the original zones" when what actually happens is that almost the entire population of TLP's will congregate in just a very few zones as soon as they can make the run there. GFay and Commonlands get crowds but there are never large groups of players heading over the Halas AFAIK

Not to mention unless you want your box to be utterly useless you need to be pushing buttons on both PCs throughout any fight which increases the probability that even though you are 100% legit trueboxing on 2 completely independant computers that you will flag their detection system and get DC'd. It's fine when a single assist hotkey once per fight is sufficient but sometime between say TBS and SoD you need to start becoming alot more active.

tlp server that allowed everything but reset characters to lvl 1 every month (ie u could keep your gear). would be hilarious seeing people trying to get through all progressions in a monthly race.
