TLP Suggestion? Unlimited DZ TLP..

Wasn't sure where to put this so I'll stick it here. I would love to see a TLP server, where every exp zone has its own AoC and there is no exp penalty for being in a DZ.

That way we could organize a group in LFG, go to wherever we want, say Lguk, Pop a DZ and have the place to ourselves, roam around farming what we want / need, not have to worry about jerks KSing or taking camps (Yes, I know "camps" dont exist in the rules, but they do to civilized players). Wouldn't have to deal with PL'ers training the whole zone and leaving you with nothing, on the flip side, PLers have their own zones and dont have to worry about groups.

I know we get spawned instances with Ldon, which is great, but Ldon lasts an expac or 2 at most then hardly gets touched again.

Alternatively, if dev's dont want the hastle of adding AoC's to all the zones, could just reduce the ammount of people it takes to spawn a new pick, to say 8 or 10, so if theres already a full group in pick 1, and a group of 6 people try to zone in, it will just spawn pick 2, but if you wanted to get into pick 1 you could still /pick to it..

    Just a thought :)

There is nothing lonelier than a MMORPG with all instanced content.

The problem with that is all servers share the same hardware when it comes to different zones and instances. If one server was allowed to create an unlimited number of them it would impact every other server as well.

One idea is to treat these AoC zones like a raid AoC zone. Turn off respawns, set a time limit to how long it stays open. If the player leaves the instance, it closes and gives the account a lockout from entering another zone AoC instance. This will keep people from flipping instances.

Congratulations on being the 3782nd person to have that thought. The answer is the same as the previous 3781st times this was asked. Private picks are literally impossible due to the limits on server capacity. In any case EQ is a MMO, not a single-player RPG.
