[ THORNBLADE ] <Agents of Casual> Casual Mon/Thu EST guild recruiting.

Greetings! After polling our current members, Agents of Casual will roll on the Thornblade server!

Why <Agents of Casual> ?

The focus of our guild is to have fun while playing Everquest. Our goal is to have a fun, friendly environment that can suit multiple types of playstyles. Former hardcore raider that can't commit the time for a more active guild? We plan on raiding only a few nights a week, with no mandatory attendance requirements. Newer player who wants to have some fun while learning raid content? No problem, our core of officers have been playing since beta, we can have some fun while you pick our brains and learn the ropes. Busy running kids to event after event? Show up when you can, we'll be here! We all have jobs or families or responsibilities, so we understand when things come up, our relaxed atmosphere means you don't have to stress that, we know real life comes first!

Raid Times :

Our expected raiding days will be Monday and Thursday night, starting at roughly 8:30-9pm EST until about midnight. We will also be adding alternating weekend day raids, changing between Saturday and Sunday. There will be no mandatory attendance requirement. If you can make it, great! If you can't, we'll see you next time, no problem!

Loot Style :

Since this server won't have many if any No Drop items, we will be using a GDKP system for loot. For those who haven't heard of that before, it means you bid with Platinum for items, and at the end of the raids whatever Platinum is collected will then be reimbursed to participating members. We believe this loot structure will benefit everyone in the long term.

Question for you; If most raid items wont be no drop, does that mean that everyone can bid on everything? Or are there additional rules there?

Would kind of suck to to lose out on items to guildies just to have them go sell it at the EC Tunnel for more than they bid.

You're right, it absolutely would. Mains that will equip as an upgrade get first dibs, after that it is what it is. Selling raid loot only hamstrings the guild long term anyway, the more loot you get the more loot you can get.

We've got a solid group of folks so far though, I think we'll be doing alright!

I'm coming back to Everquest from like a 15 year break essentially. I haven't played since Omen, I am not sure what i'll be playing but I for sure would love a guild that doesn't boot or pressure people that may not have time to raid and just want to be part of a community.

I signed up! Looking forward to giving this EQ thing another try!

This sounds interesting. This just popped on my email and I am very interested to go back and start at 1.0. Its been years since I have played. Who do I contact to get in the guild when I am done Downloading and spending hours figuring out what race and what class I want to play. Toss up between Ranger and Bard.

There is no restrictions on class, whatever you will have fun playing is welcome!

We raid 3x a week --- Monday and Thursday 8:30pm EST and one rotating weekend day (sat / sun alternating) at the same 8:30pm EST time. Don't worry if you can't make every raid, we know real life comes first!

Are you all accepting new people? Just started on the server this week to try it out. Returned again after taking a break for a bit and rejoined old guild on Mangler, but it's just not the same as it was originally.
