There is only one way to satisfy Hardcore players...

The problem is the race is too easy! Even back in The Combine days we were plowing through expansions in a matter of days. Now finishing all expansion content is a matter of hours between one guild and another. It's a hot dog eating contest. Not a real competition.

It would have to be an awfully ginormous reward for people to be willing to invest a full year into it. On quarm, you could keep playing on your main server. The one you've proposed, no chance of that, at least not if you want to win.

What Everquest reward do you envision would be worth giving up a year worth of your free time to pursue?
