The "Has Lore Aug." column in Merchant Recover tab

So, a friend upgraded her toon, and destroyed a bunch of armor that was no longer in use. All Elaborate Defiant stuff. It shows up in Recover tab, as expected. For these items only, the "Has Lore Aug." column says "Yes", but "No" to the rest of the items.

Did she do what I think she did, and destroy her augments along with her armor? Oops.

However, if so, when I Inspect the item via the Inspect button, it doesn't show any augment in it. Perhaps just a limitation of the feature?

If I Recover them with a Token of Reclamation, will I get the augs back? Also, if these Lore augs are once again owned, what will happen? Will the Recover fail? Or, will the item come back, but simply without the aug? (thus poof'ing it?)

Obviously the armor is junk, but the augs may be worthwhile. But, don't want to Recover a piece that has a Lore aug that is already owned. No point.

Is there really no way to see what the Aug is in the item WITHOUT first buying the Token of Reclamation, using it, and then wasting it only to find out you already have the aug when it fails?

'Cause that seems...less than ideal...if so.

I think I answered my question partially:

    - if you attempt to Recover an item with a Lore Aug and you already have it, it does nothing, and gives you an error. So, you don't lose your Token, at least.
    - either it's a but or a limitation that when you Inspect a Recoverable item item that has an >ore Aug in it, that it doesn't not show the Aug in the item's sheet window.

Is there any way to figure out what the Lore Aug is? In this case, I don't care, because I don't want the containing item. But, what if I did want it?

In theory, I could just Destroy the Aug that is blocking it's recovery, and then get it back upon Recover. But, if I can't see what the item is...we've got a catch-22 situation here.

Any way to resolve that? How do I see what Lore Aug is inside the item I want to Recover, without actually Recovering it, which I can't do because it has a Lore Aug which is preventing Recovery.

    :)
