Graphics are too large. Subject headings are too large. Everchanter's name bar is appearing below my message. Hmmm?
Need to be able to minimize the thread sections, like the "support" section. And Good Grief! Split up TradeSkills and Housing!
Archives are being privately hosted offsite, but you're right, they DID promise locked archives. I'd give them a few hours on that.
Nice that they gave Mac server their own forums. I think we should still have server forums though. Esp. the Antonius people.
It would be nice to see a moving header at the top of the page, so I can quickly click on the "Raskha" link and access watched threads or make adjustments to my profile or avatar, especially if they continue to make changes to the forum. It would be a nice way to quickly navigate, because why scroll when you don't have to? I do like the overall look though.
Yeah, could have been worse. The default colors could have been red font on black background. (Need a gagging smiley.)
Probably something we get after enough posts. Fits in well with the eqplayers look, but still graphically heavy. Be good to have an option to crank down the visuals a fair bit.
Ah, can change pic, but only to allowed sings so far. Seems to be working on mobile now, which is a huge benefit.
I have a feeling from poking around the forums a bit that some tweaking of the forums will be incoming, just from noticing some minor graphical glitches, lack of custom avatars, etc. I agree however that a slimmed down version of this would be wonderful, or even better, one that is even more mobile friendly too. I doubt anyone is here to say "Oooh, look at the pretty background on this forum! Look at that pretty paw Rashka has as his avatar!" so hopefully this will happen so we can keep up to date on our EQ addicti- I mean needs, while minimizing resources needed to load a page.
Aye, a minimal theme as an option for us to select if we want to would be great, and preferred when browsing on mobile devices. Very happy that these new forums DO allow you to post using phones. The old one needed workarounds.
Nice to see the .css is done right, it'll be trivial to replace the stylesheet in the <head> (first one) with something to alter the looks client side for anyone who wants to go back to the old theme. Just knocking that line out gets it instantly graphicless (probably best method for phones).
