    This!

I've held off on buying CotF since I came back because I knew another All-In-One expansion was coming out. But not having CotF is leaving me out of a LOT of current social play right now... I'd like to pre-order ASAP so I can access CotF!

Unless SOE drastically changes the way they handle purchases, merely pre-ordering a new expansion does not grant immediate access to previous expansions. You will not have access to CoTF by pre-ordering TDS until TDS is launched and payment is deducted/accepted by SoE.

Like Melanippe mentioned you can preorder but you won't actually be charged until the day the expansion is released.
Since you're not charged until that day you shouldn't expect to gain anything prior to that because you haven't yet actually payed for anything, prior expansions included.

From everything I've read, and heard from friends, I'm looking forward to this.

8 zones on day 1, with the raids associated, should be a riot!

8 zones can last a lifetime if there's enough roadblocks in progression. If everything is open from the start people will just plow through it in a few weeks. There have been lots of expansions that got it right, hopefully this will be another one of those.

Regardless, I really like the look of these new zones, and it'll be fun to explore them!

Personally, I could wait another year and get a good old fashioned 14 zone expansion. One with more content, and less "slow them down" roadblocks masquerading as content.
The new stuff looks great - but there's enough CoTF and PoW that I havn't seen to keep me amused for a good while yet.
I think the problem here is that the Larger Guilds (who require all members to get every expansion ASAP) have long since farmed CotF to death. And they really do need more content. They also represent a lot of easy, sure-fire, early sales revenue too! (not saying that's a bad thing)
