The Burning Lands expansion

I work in QA. It's possible to release tested content changes.

Except that doesn't follow, the Dev's were actively fixing things up until just before Xmas.
Xmas and New Years takes up 2 weeks max for their vacation time; so if it was something that they could easily hotfix and have it going in a few days; then it would have been at most 2 weeks that you would have wait; not more than a month. However, if it was something that would have had to wait for a full patch to be pushed live then it would have taken over a month regardless of when the expansion was released.

If you applied for different QA job which would you put first on your resume, your experience QAing professionally or your experience QAing EQ betas?

I knew a McKinsey consultant that had raid leader at wow as only education.... quite hype-based... not sure if he was able to hang on. But it is McKinsey, so probably...

Anyone else feel this expac could tie into The Broken Mirror? TDS>EOK + ROS. TBM story just seemed a bit random and felt like there should be more to it, after all we are returning to the planes and TBM had the plane of health and the revamped Hate/fear

Please no. As tired as I am of the Combine, Anashti Sul and her EQ2 crap are worse.

I can see these in a raid -
have to kite snails but they leave a trail of slime snaring any that step in it.

That made me think we should have an ESCort quest for the snails!

A quest that moves at a snail's pace sounds like a real snoozer.

I am sure this will require Walk be turned on or you get too far away and Death touched.

Escort a snail 50 feet, in a zone where you move at 150 run speed, need to stay within 1 feet of the snail, further away you lose, because only within 10 feet the area is safe, due to the slime cools the ground from the lava ;-)

I could see that, ESCorting Snails though the salt flats. Dropping lures and dodging vents that pitch burning rock high into the air. Forcing you to to hide under its shell to avoid being crushed, while defending your snail from the free frogs of liberte (in chief arprons, of course)

Didn't the kids movie Monsters Vs. Aliens tease about a monster called Escargantuan? Feel like this could be an option for you....

Snail ornament jacket that makes it relative safe to move around in Burning land, cooling down the lava, if you move around on the lava directly, you take varying degree of damage per tick.

However you do not get the best ornament from beginning, you work your way up progression in each zone getting a better one.

First zone, you take 2,5 k damage per tick, next zone 5k, third = 10k, fourth = 25k, Fifth = 50k.

This means, you do have to do the progression, and cannot just rush to end zones and kill named there.

You also need so you can use Hero ornaments.

Snail ornament jacket with permanent protection or you can refill a special bottle you also get from progression with some stuff from a vendor costing 5k enough for 10 charges, each charge lasting 1 hour.
