Beaming hate, swarming involves tanking the mobs and has a high risk of failure. Amassing 95 mobs in POS and beaming them down in 30 seconds while they're lagged out has an incredibly low risk of failure.

Having NPCs summon is not the best solution but it is a remedy to a wound that's been festering a bit too long.

Mages were very adamant that they did not want their beam nerfed as a consequence of heavy-abuse...well, here you have it --- their beam was not nerfed, kiting was instead.

Also greatly affects Enchanter (reverse) charm soloing, and not in a good way. Again, a blanket change that was (likely) targeted to inhibit the abilities of one particular class but affects way more. At least this way no one class can say they were nerfed!

ps. Still WTB Geomantra vs. Enchanter spell shield stacking fix (Aegis/Legion of DD spell dmg).

The anti-beam-kite change is an overkill that ruins all kiting, not just beam. To counter the beam kiting, it was enough to make only 1 type summon per zone. Ruining CoB looks especially bad, since Braxi and Selyrah are the two most common species there.

What a terrible way to 'solve' an issue.

Many of these quests were problematic for years. Better late than never, I guess.

Another long overdue thing. I have never never never understood how anyone at SOE could think making items NO STORE makes any sense at all. Someone there was hungover after drinking all weekend and everyone else afraid to overrule them?

I'm going to guess that it goes in the first open slot in your spellbook?

Good. I always get annoyed when the tank would overwrite my Myrmidon's buff and then I have to recast it constantly.

Sigh. It was high on my list to get as a nice buff. Now it is still useful but it becomes another thing that either I have to have yet another button on my screen so I know when it is available or I guess I can go get a 10 minute sand hourglass timer on my desk?

Kind of late on many of them, but thanks. It's good to fix any "bad" quest, no matter how old. Kudos to you for not listening to the "It's so old, why bother?" crowd.

    /approve

Not sure of the logic on this one. So kiters were overpowered vs other things (or are you going to nerf those next?)???. I'm not going to mention the other overpowered ways other classes get xp since going there is non productive. I'm just wondering if this was really necessary. I don't kite so it doesn't affect me personally. Still, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

When I first found out the effectiveness of Preincarnation 2 when it was first created, I was sure it was a mistake, as you actually gave druids something really nice (shaman had to get it also, since they are the fair-haired children at SOE). After all this time, I thought maybe someone at SOE had decided we deserved something nice. Now I see that I should have known better. Sigh.

Not sure of the reason for this one other than to kill us more. Wasn't lowering the effectiveness from 60 percent to 40 percent enough to get us killed?

I suppose I should be happy it wasn't reduced to 10%.

    Thanks. This one is nice.

Pretty sure you did this last month...

Thank you. Can you do this for raid invites and rezzes as well?

I've always been able to apply poison from inside a bag, ever since they let you click things from inside bags (what's that been, a year now?).

Very nice "minor" thing that was needed.

So, mostly a nice patch with a few issues. Glad you guys are working on fixing stuff :).

    Still awaiting summon resist AAs.

50% chance for each time you're summon for the mob to fail. 100% chance if the mob is 20 levels below you.

This is fine... IF you bump up the heal percentage quite a bit. Otherwise makes this item pretty damn 'meh'

Mage beam let it be something a few do. Sk swarming is ok ?
Ppl need to cry about something, next will be ? How many ppl are doing someting in Evantil anways, really.
This is old SOE thinking, better nerf then contribute something else.

All these summoning changes are just kill off all forms of kiting, not just the mages' beam kite. I guess only SK's swamping kiting is the only one left?

    /sigh
Druids finally got a bone thrown to them, and now its being taken away. What's next, nerfing our movement buffs back to where they can only be cast in the outdoors (besides shrew)? There are plenty of other "improvements" that could have been done.

The only changes I see are making so it is easier to do them with less people and less headache. The quests otherwise don't appear changed.
