The 10 remaining Enchanter mains in the game thank you for being relegated back to buffbots. I for one will thoroughly enjoy having my DPS reduced to pre-EOK levels.

Not for nerfs Would rather they buff the classes that are lagging behind badly.
  6. Tyreel Augur

What is DEVs vision for Enchanters? The severity of the nerfs to our dots clearly means it is not dps and the dramatic lack of Crowd Control needed on raids leaves me at a loss?

I know this comes off like crying but after the first enchanter in a raid our value has now dropped to 'not that important' when total adps and personal dps are counted. God help us if you decide to go Crowd Control heavy on raids next expansion there will just not be that many raiding chanters left...
  7. Ofearl Augur

Still nothing on old man mackinzie missions/raids....

@ Aristo please please learn from all the dot revamps you have done and do not give us necros a spam castable dot over 15k in base power. Unless its a swift dot or a doom dot.

I don't want a 30k spam castable dot to then have you nerf it a month later by doubling its mana, halfing its damage and adding a 10s recast on a spell that never had one. Like you have done to druids, shaman and enchanters already. Listen to the feedback you have been provided for the past 2 years and keep our dots in the 5-15k range.

The dot revamp has pretty much been rescinded, except now those that got it can't use multiple dots from the same line. Is that the change you want as a necro?

It's a good question. It appeared the vision had shifted to yet another dps class as 1) cc has been made irrelevant in both the group and raid game 2) The unique role of robe tank has been nerfed several times over. With the current nerf, there appears no vision for what the class should be.

What I want is for my DoTs to stop bouncing off raid targets because of the debuff limit.
  12. Forcallen Augur

Dot revamps for all is still happening, its just a matter of when. What I don't want is a repeat of what hes done for druids, shaman, enchanters or anyone else so far (even if they have held onto the new base power for awhile anyway) which is ignore common sense with how dots work and give people massive base power increases and then months later make their dots terrible. Either efficiency wise, with new terrible recast timers or with other restrictions that might not have been there prior.

Tune the base properly which is under 15k for anyone that can spam cast a dot, and under 8k in most cases because all the classes done so far are not pure dot dps classes anyway.

I am fine with no longer using older versions of lines as long as its handled intelligently. But that still leaves us with 12+ dot lines current end game which in reality if left with doesn't help the debuff cap problem all that much. So ours probably goes even a step further consolidation wise but we shall see. But a few people have laid out how he should be handling this for necromancers already that keep things balanced. Our burst goes up some at the cost of some sustained so that in general it all evens out in total, but the total dots used and casts per mob goes down. We don't want to burst for 2 million dps for a month and then be severely changed a month or two later because he couldn't just listen to reason to begin with and repeated the mistakes we have seen play out with every dot revamped class so far.
  13. AnzoRagespirit Augur

Shared Merciless Ferocity is still not massable...I shall post this on update notes, test and live untill it is :)
  14. Bigstomp Augur

There are still 2 raid's chanters tradition skills are useful.
    Although we have bards...
  15. Zunar Augur

Beastlord AA Frenzied Swipes still doesn't actually work the way it says in the AA description window.
It clearly says reduces the reuse time of your round kick skill by 3 seconds for 30 seconds.
It only gets lowered by 1 second however...
  16. Allayna Augur

Beastlords and Rangers next on the chopping block?
  17. Maedhros High King

That is way too much of a nerf to the chanters. 15% scale back on the dmg on the dots would have been plenty. We need to stop nerfing entire classes because of the exceptional results of a few players.
  18. Cleaver Augur

The problem isn't the vision. The problem is the content creators. You have the left hand doing all class balance and the right hand creating content and they don't get together and make sure it all comes together.

People may not think it but creating content and raids so every class has a role and is useful is not easy.

Well, is was fun over the last 18 years. Thank you DB for making the decision even easier. Silent Redemption will be getting a new leader for sure with this patch. Have fun fighting future nerfs, fellow enchanters. And welcome to pre-VoA play again.
