    We entered this last Beta in design lock already.

    Now is the only time to bring up disparity. Your sks probably aren't jerk offs and click harmonious off. That doesn't mean that is everyone's experience. Nor is that even effecient strategy (though it may work for you).
  2. Sheex Goodnight, Springton. There will be no encores.

    Actually, I'm saying death to the ae component of harmonious for the two classes that have it, because *I have that power* and in practice it's ridiculously strong. No one should generate that much hate standing there if aggro is actually supposed to be a thing. If it's not and it's supposed to be utterly meaningless, I'd be down with sharing my power with the unicorn riding community, and the harmos were a great first step.

    On raids it has to be used carefully and situationally or you'll end up with literally everything on you and destroyed, but that doesn't mean it's not stupid.

    Doesn't the stun and heal components create additional hate?
  4. Warpeace Augur

    Additional...lol

    Not significantly enough to measure reliably in controlled testing. I heal aggro has been insignificant since HOT..

    I am sure you might be right that maybe my estimate is abit low, but I would be astounded if it even added up to 100k.

    Making the gap still massive
  6. Chaosflux Augur

    It was a valid question.

    There was a time I am sure you remember heal aggro sort of helped us. That time is about 15 years past lol.
  7. drEvil Lorekeeper

    Certain fabled mobs still missing
  8. Warpeace Augur

    Well recently someone on the boards also said to spam our group heals to generate additional agro. They were dead serious with the heal agro argument:(
  9. Chaosflux Augur

    Well the thing most people don't realize is heal aggro had a cap put on it along time ago. That cap in relation to current hate production is so laughably low as to be hardly more than a rain drop in the ocean.

    Shadowknight innate darkblade is going from 120% down to 100% so we are also seeing a nice hit on dps

    Okay, minus the heal, what about the stun component? I guess I'm trying to understand the numbers you put up.

  13. Xanathol Augur

    And you came up with this number how?
  14. Kleitus_Xegony Augur

    This is what I had posted to the beta forums when I was testing things out and trying to figure out the correct values. I wasn't testing the non-healing version of the Warrior Harmonious at this time and all of the numbers are for RK III...

    Here's how I believe the three spells work. You need to realize that the Harmonious spells autocast other spells and keep the order correct.....

    This is what I have so far for the Aggro: (Note: using chars with max AAs, 1000 Worn Heal Amount, 500 Spell Damage Amount - all very reasonable amounts with EoK gear - also assuming nothing but full heals for aggro purposes and nothing else done for aggro)

    Paladin = Hate + Heal_Amt
    Proc #1: 9336 + 13345 = 22681
    ...

    Shadow Knight = (Base_DD + Heal_Amt) + (Total_Hate * .04)
    Proc #1: (20668 + 13685 + 14641) + (int (((20668 + 0) + 13685 + 14641) * .04)) = 50953
    Proc #2: (20668 + 13685 + 14641) + (int (((50953 + 20668) + 13685 + 14641) * .04)) = 52991
    Proc #3: (20668 + 13685 + 14641) + (int (((52991+ 20668) + 13685 + 14641) * .04)) = 53073
    Proc #3: (20668 + 13685 + 14641) + (int (((53076+ 20668) + 13685 + 14641) * .04)) = 53076
    ...

    Warrior = Hate + (Total_Hate * .04) + Base_DD + Heal_Amt
    Proc #1: 26259 + (INT((26259 + 0) * 0.04)) + 7401 + 12021 = 46731
    Proc #2: 26259 + (INT((26259 + 46731) * 0.04)) + 7401 + 12021 = 48600
    Proc #3: 26259 + (INT((26259 + 48600) * 0.04)) + 7401 + 12021 = 48675
    Proc #3: 26259 + (INT((26259 + 48675) * 0.04)) + 7401 + 12021 = 48678
    ...

    I could be completely wrong with how I'm figuring out the aggro so please correct me if I'm wrong. I think the goofy stun hate value for the Paladin version is wiped out by the way this spell has the Hate mod added, but I'm not 100% sure on that either.

    Just so people see what's going on with the heals, here's how you figure those values out (note 1000 Worn Heal_Amount):
    Base_Heal = self-explanatory
    Bonus_Healing = (int(Worn_Heal_Amt / 4))

    Paladin = ( ( Base_Heal + Bonus_Healing ) + ( ( Base_Heal + Bonus_Healing ) * Healing_Adept_Mod ))
    Normal Heal = ((7600 + 250) + (( 7600 + 250) * 0.7)) = 13345 Group Heal
    Exceptional Heal = 13345 * 2 = 26690 Group Heal

    Shadow Knight = Base_Heal + Bonus_Healing
    Normal Heal = 13685 Self-only Heal
    Exceptional Heal = 27370 Self-only Heal

    Warrior = Base_Heal
    12021 / tic for 9 total tics

    Just so people see what's going on with the Direct Damage amounts, here's how you figure those values out (Note: 500 Worn Spell Damage):
    Paladin = Stun 110 / 3s

    Shadow Knight = (Base_DD + (Worn_Spell_Damage / 4)
    Normal DD = 20,688 + 125 = 20793
    Critical DD = 20793 * 4 = 83,172

    Warrior = Base_DD
    Normal DD = 7401 + 125 = 7526
    Critical DD = NA

    1. Heal aggro is not always noticed and some argue it is capped atm. 2. Nuke aggro is not ae and the nuke is single target. 3, He excluded the percentage gain in his statement.
  16. Chaosflux Augur

    Stuns are capped at sub 1500 hate if they don't have a damage component. Atleast the ones I tested.

    Kleitus I am not sure what that eyesore of equations is saying, but I can beyond a shadow of a doubt tell you the paladin one doesn't produce 22k hate per proc.

    Yes I tested and received full or near full value heals. The difference was negligible.

    DD hate is solely reliant on base damage. Spell dam mod3 doesn't add anything or if it does its so infantisimal that you would be talking less than 100 hate/cast.

    Critical damage also does nothing extra.
  17. shiftie Augur

    I like how we are arguing over ae hate when a beloved aa and our only real burn mod is being neutered because people were jelly we didn't rely on adps as much. Meanwhile our meaningful burn requires 7th and others do not.

    I get why it had to be modified and wish Eli had not rushed it out the door when we came up with it. The original was worse and had they listened it wouldn't have had to be nerfed either. we could have seen the mods spread out over more abilities. Now one ability gets obliterated and the wheel falls off our burn ... I don't care that they had to modify it to be more reasonable but changing the entirety of the multifaceted mods is irritating with no testing.

    Harmonious Illumination III: Increase Hate by 9336
    Expansive Distraction III: bonushate=14641

    If SK is getting 1464100 million then the paladin should be getting 933600 not 391000.
  19. Chaosflux Augur

    Right + 18k for the nuke
  20. Chaosflux Augur

    Valorous Rage has now become Impotent Rage amirite.
