I know it may seem like a minor problem but Test server's universal chat has been down for almost 2 weeks now & no response has been given as to why or when it will be fixed. It may seem like a minor issue to some but when you can't communicate effectively with the entire server at once it makes it very difficult to plan any sort of events. For example I had wanted to run some holiday themed events open to everyone but had a small turn out on the first attempt & no reasonable way to let everyone know they were still going to take place. I wound up running them that night with a small turn out & want to do so again this weekend but without a means to share that info with the server, I fear we'll have a small turn out again. It also takes away the sense of community & good will normally found on Test when some gear is rotting, people usually let everyone else know in general so that they may come loot it & usually offer to help them get there as well be that with a COTH or a port or just escorting them safely etc. Please devs & whoever else take a look at this issue & let us know when it might be fixed so that we may be able to use the chat system again.
Piestro or any devs, can one of you take a look at this? Would be nice to have a time frame for a possible fix.
