Tempest Zek is looking for a handful of worthy raiders to fill out our ranks. Our guild is a merger of players from PVP guilds on Vallon Zek and a former end-game raiding guild on The Nameless/Maelin Starpyre. Unlike most guilds we are happy with our relatively low numbers and enjoy the challenge of clearing raid content without ever having a full raid. We’d like to think we are more focused on fun and less focused on loot then most out there. We believe when you gather a group of good quality players as your base that kind of selfless culture prevails. Raid Times: On Tuesdays & Thursdays starting at 8:00 pm eastern and Sunday starting at 7 pm eastern. Our guild almost always has a good mix of classes online during non-raid times, there are usually guild groups, epic camps or even small target raiding non-DKP raids happening. Raid Targets: Our crew is moving steadily through Velious. Right now we are working on the last few dragons in TOV and we have AOW upcoming in Kael. Loot System: We use a silent bid DKP system and we do allow players to earn DKP on box characters (boxes earn just slightly less than mains). Box characters are expected to fully contribute to the raid, if it’s noticed that your box is basically afk, you’ll be asked to remove them from the raid. Other Info: We use discord for raid time communications, guild discussions, general chat and announcements. All communication happens through our Discord. We require you to be in the voice channel during raids; if you're not a talker, that's fine, it's completely optional, but you must be able to listen. Why should you join? We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and we are definitely not “hardcore”. You won’t be receiving any “batphone” calls and we understand that RL > EQ. That said, when we are online and engaged in a raid, we expect everyone to bring their A game. Experienced raiders/players are welcomed and will definitely be embraced, but if you’ve never done more than grouping and tradeskills, you’re still welcome and we’ll help you along. The most important thing is that you’re giving us your best effort and that at a raid we have your full attention and focus. Classes that we’re looking for: Everything! But it would be especially nice to have some non-boxed clerics J How do I apply? Look for Flugal, Serrah/Jakuval, Niniyn/Chiryn, Damer/Ackie, Squirrelcat/Squirreldog or Monzie in game.
