Teek and Anniversary Tower - a Lose/Lose?

Nonsense. Comparing with the neck piece example cited in this thread's OP:

PoP BiS neck from PoT raids is all level 65 required, main stats all +15-20, resists +12-20 with some pieces having large bumps for one resist, and HP/MAN/ENC +150-220 in various combinations. Much stronger than the anniversary tower pieces which have dropped so far. There are tier 1 raids in lower-level PoP zones with drops of level 50-53 and stats close to the anniversary pieces, but those are also on par with drops from Kunark/Velius/Luclin, throughout which the level cap was 60. Your citation of OoW raid gear stats coming is wild speculation. Plus, stats on non-visibles didn't grow much in-era, the attention was given to the visible slots which all scale a lot from Kunark to PoP (something which has also been noted by others).

To not have PoP era drops in Kunark... While era appropriate stuff was removed for being to "good." Or the fact that when it ends aduring PoP you get the level 65 upgrades that will take you to almost level 75 in 12 slots making most of the drops in the game worthless. The scaling is horrible on the low end, at 125 it's a hair less then T2 group gear.

Agreed, makes it so much less fun. Always loved going after things like cloak of flames in classic/kunark - now there is a 23ac 15 to all stats 140hp/mana +hp/mana regen cloak that someone using a level 2 mage can solo. Guess its best to find another item. Every item added each month will make the game worse.

It's the most appropriate to me... playing a caster there is nothing to look forward to gear-wise until Luclin when then unlock Focus Effects... This gear at least lets us get our beaks wet with some mana regen...

This issue only affects you if you allow it. You don't need to get the gear or use it and by nature of any TLP, raiding is extremely simple and easy, especially up through PoP... Literally doesn't affect you in any way. Worst case scenario, you get a cheaper piece of "in era" loot for the slots filled with tower gear.

I think you should have played on Tormax for a more balanced experience.

It's not fun and you don't need to do it with other people, also leads to the best gear possible for various slots.

Make the quest doable now, let people equip the gear once LDoN is released.

Also the warrens can't be opened because of the overpowered Muglwump loot.

Yuuup, this is why I stopped playing. Even if they remove the tower gear the plat market is perma broken. 2k .krono at day 4 or whatever. Haven't been on in a bit, how's krono doing, above 3k yet?

Literally restart the server at this point. They won't though, but I'm out.

Plat is permanently broken and the economy is broken.

You can use a bunch of boxes to farm thousands of plat an hour.

Thanks for the OP to let me know about Anniversary tower. I just come to the forum and read that thread because i didn't know anything about that now i can go to North Ro and get wonderful piece. So if i follow what people did say you can have 4 pieces atm right.

Plat isn't broken. Anyone can go do the key quests. They are absurdly easy. The plat economy only becomes broken if the way to obtain the plat becomes removed. It's currently still there and available to everyone.

The reason krono are 3k after week 1 is because the server launched in kunark. And plat drops in kunark are insane. I spent like 4 hours in seb and had enough gear and gems to just straight buy 2kr. Yes the tower quest gives plat, but that's not the main reason for the krono price.

Origin, 40 slot bags, exp pots, personas, free trade, krono, all raids beat in 3 days after launch, no hell levels...but yeah 25 year Anniversary quests that everyone can do is where I draw the line. Good for you man.

LOL, who cares? Byyyeeeeee! Im having fun on Teek and the Tower missions were fun to do with friends.

This is the clear answer. Changing this to required level 61 would keep these items spirit while not completely breaking TLP. They will be a huge advantage push for planes to have equipped on your high end guilds but comparable if not worse then elemental raid equips. Win win.

Another sky has fallen complaint. The last poster was correct. I have about 3k plat right now just from vendoring extra drops. Kunark with random loot gets us there. All good and fun.

People always have to complain about something..
Just go play the game and have some fun.

The tower situation hasn't affected me one bit.

I never think about it.

Is it a good thing? No. Is it worth quitting over? If so, you were just looking for a reason to quit (or just trolling...)
