Wake of Karana: Channels the will of the Rainkeeper to change the weather in the current zone. Consumes an opal when cast. I recently tried this in Western Wastes (COV) at the request of a friend. I get a message "You call out to Karana" but I do not get a message saying it has started/stopped raining/snowing. I tried going to Misty Thicket - and cast the spell, again no message that the rain had started/stopped. The item Orb of Calm Tides - which has the spell Raincall still works. Once an hour.
The orb needs to be cast twice (2 different toons) to end the fog/snowstorms in WW, at least in my experience.
If it's raining, it should work. (It stops the rain.) I used it only once a long time ago. Thanks for the reply, its been a while since I used it, and from the description I thought it toggled the weather.
