Resist songs, overhaste, but if you're looking for passive melee dps with the ogre requirement... Rogues can use the ogre mask too. Or you could go master-race iksar and go sk/shm/mnk ^.~
Hmmm, that's a good point. Initially I had leaned more toward the Ranger as it might be nice to have just that slight bit of extra utility, but Rogue would probably be more significant "passive" DPS. My only concern would be with positioning for backstabs. That seems like it may be a pain to deal with, no?
I boxed a rogue with an sk pretty easily, your tank positions the mob, you can leave the rogue stationary in your pull spot, takes a bit of getting used to but once you have it down it's not very difficult at all.
