SK pets breaking mez

I've noticed on several nights that a friend's SK pet routinely breaks mez.

And not just on one mob. A bad pull may be 3-4 things mezzed, and inside 10 seconds the pet will break ALL of the mezzes. After remezzing it can go back and do it again.
This seems to happen with spell hold on (the pet is either ungeared or holding mage weapons). It seems to happen in both instances.

Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like your friend is casting a version of this.

Scratch that. He says he never memorizes it. Do you have any other ideas?

Utilizing AE agro or AE tap and some sort of display bug giving the pet credit?

Wasn't it posted a few weeks ago that the RoS bp is detrimental (causes mobs to lifetap the SK)?

yes, and its getting fixed, so many still use the old one.

The bone chip is probably more valuable than the DPS it adds

Havent parsed mine in awhile, but I would guess it does about 5k melee dps plus any synergy procs and NET procs. Maybe 10k dps total?

On my enchanter, if I can't charm I keep one up with pet hold off. So if there is a group coming, it can off tank one for a little bit.
Would this work for an SK as well? Give them a little relief on initial impact?

I think sk pet is about equal to ench pet, so probably.
