Re-upped after a few years away. I'm about a daily away from 96. Seems like I'm getting a beat down on content I was able to handle with ease before I left. The evil gamer web site is gone and looks like eqshadowknights is gone too. Where is everyone getting strat info? evil gamer was an extremely helpful resource. After being gone so long it's almost like having to relearn my class but the info is no longer available. When I logged back in for the first time I had a massive AA amount credited I had to use before I logged back out. Why are some aa's I have purchased saying disabled? I've looked around a bit but haven't found anything. What is the third buff like window? not the songs, spells or aura's, it has three icons that don't contain any info when you hover over them.
Click the icons. They will tell you about special events happening in-game. I don't know what the window is called. If one of the three icons is labeled "MW", then that's definitely the window I mean. That icon is for Memorial Day Weekend. It was the most recent in-game event. You'll likely also find that the three events shown are over. For some reason, they don't have the events time-out. I have alts which are rarely played, showing well over a dozen icons in that window. When you click on those icons, the window which opens has two buttons. Minimize will leave the icon in the window you're talking about. Close will clear the icon from that window. Regarding strat info, there is some good stuff in the class forums here. I still pop into the SK web page time to time. It is pretty dead though lately. Kravn who was handling alot of the sites duties has stopped playing EQ.
