I went through each step of the epic. I have the iksar scale from COM. I am currently only at 1100 true spirit faction(which states Ally). The sentinel in the pond does not talk to me and returns the scale after giving it to them. I went back and tried to do one of the gem quests for more rep. I did the butcher block mountain spirit for the gem and turned into the guy in west freeport. Got exp but not rep. I also tried the spirit for the gem out in ocean of tears same thing. My understanding after the patch you can no longer repeat quests for rep and it seems i need more rep... I'm i missing something or did the rep bug out on me?
I did the shaman 1.0 post patch and it was fine, pretty easy really with a bit of patience. Each step gave me just enough faction to complete the next step. Make sure you don't miss any steps! I followed the write up on Allakhazam.
