What do you like about playing a shaman? Cause it's very hard to tell from your list. There's too much overlap between the classes as is.
some good idea there from kinadorn . *Mnemonic retention would be nice to have one or 2 more spell gem , shm whit the dots and heals and the dumb alliance we need to cast every 4 min , having more spells gems would be nice. ALLIANCE , i wish it was never introduced , because of the range of it, shm are the designated class to cast that buff on several ( many ) tanks every 4 min,,,,,,,,,, so please add more aa ranks to have that buff to last longer. tala tak is a buff most like to have because of the added attack bonus , i get tells almost every time we raid , and we have an aa to cast it but with so long casting time ( near 8 sec cast) and so short range ( 50 feet) is something i dislike ( cast time + range ) , tala tak info say : range to target 100 feet , but it is not, if the target is at 51 feet it won't reach him i hope we getting a new upgraded version ( with reduced cast time and extended range ). no clue why shaman get an aa to cast tala tak with near 8 sec cast while druid got one at 2 second.................... druid version : druid version { spirit of eagle aa } 3/3 rank is 2 seconds cast time ( lower than their casting one who is at 2.5 cast time ) ----->> cast the highest rank of flight of falcon. 100 feet ae
QOL mostly would be what I hope for. Perhaps an AA that casts Ancient Coalition, and AAs to shorten cast times on current activated AAs (Lupine Spirit, Turgur's Swarm/Turgur's Virulent, Malaise, Canni). As lag continues to intensify, longer cast times become more annoying.
I would like to see Hastened Fleeting Spirit , get this down to 15 min reuse. Would be nice for Roar of the Lion to be affected by the Extension of the Puma line once again. An activated burn AA for dots would be great. Something like necro Third Spire but not as strong.
I love my shaman, he's a huge part of my box group. Recommendations for 2022 expansion: Change the reckless line to share cooldowns with each other. Change Luminary's Synergy to be equivalent to Preserver / Templar (whether they are increased to match Luminary or no) Change Squall line to not proc Synergy Make priests all have the same alliance spell so shamans aren't stuck with alliance duty. Change all the priest class' heals target to "Target: Single Ally or TT" like hybrids have (to enable priests to spend more time on the current target and less time switching) Increase shaman's base melee damage by, a lot. With a boost to rabid bear.
Anyone accessing Beta forums for at least the last 3 years know that nearly every "improvement" thread was completely ignored. And the few responses were simply to inform us that there wasn't any time scheduled or available to address the improvements. Nothing I've seen or heard leads me to believe this next cycle will be any different.
on the non level increase expansions they have given us no class aa for the past 2 runs. it will be 50/50 if they still deem squall to powerful to give out an upgrade. with the combo dots more than likely coming it will hopefully open up some spell gems for current spells although i would like to see another gem. please put attentive spirit in visionary's unity. it fits all the criteria to be there and its baffling to me why it's not in there to begin with.
Have your clerics manage the Alliances, for all kinds of reasons, but it boils down to - you've got better things to be doing.
Rezz stick is fine. . don't need better rez. Squall is over powered. . just give us more AA for it. Would like to see more Alchemy. Would like to see faster re-use of AA roots. Always want more spell gems.
