So what's the logic for name conflicts when server merges occur? I heard someone say it's based off of which person had the name first? I'm hoping that there is more logic than that- someone who hasn't played in 10 years shouldn't supersede an active players name. Is there any confirmation on what the priority is?
It has always been the oldest character will keep their name, regardless and the younger toon will generaly get an x after their name with an option for a new name when they log in.
I seem to recall that there was some kind of provision if the older character hasn't been logged in for a long time but the newer one was actively played, but I cannot remember exactly what it was.
