Scepter of Channeled Lightning

Does it exist in game? Supposedly drops from the Thought Horror Overfiend in The Deep, however Magelo has no record of it dropping or existing on its drop tables. Support websites all say it comes from the THO. Has anyone actually gotten one to drop? Can this be confirmed to exist or is it one of those removed anomalies that never made it into live?

Pretty sure it was on live at some point. Allah has a lot of comments about it from 2002 and the pic was posted 2008. Allah has no notes that it was removed from the game which they usually do if an item was. The picture in Magelo has the same date of 2002 and update of 2023.

The "Rare Items" merchant Marcia Attamilgad does not list it so it was not moved to her.

I doubt anyone camps this mob much anymore and since the loot table is quite large it could be a very rare drop.

Based on those comments in Allah, it DID drop but if it STILL drops is unknown until someone camps the mob.

THO goes down intermittently on Agnarr but I have yet to hear of it popping up and I made the post since Magelo has 118 kills logged between Fabled/regular THO with no kills producing the scepter. 118 isn't a HUGE sample, especially if it's drop rate is something silly like 3% or less. Some dev confirmation would be great since I don't want to chase another ghost like the Solists Robe of Abrogation/Robe of Invocation in Veeshan's Peak 1.0 - which also appears to be nonexistent.
