http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4229 I have used this UI for years, In the past Ive made donations and I wish I could again right now To the creator Duesama- Thank you, I cant imagine EQ without SARS UI - RoS is already ready to rock Daybreak .. Hire this guy hes been building the UI most of us use for years
Oh blessed sweet Tunare, thank you for your grace. I've been using this awful UI I cobbled together for most of a month now.
Aw shucks guys..... Thanks and yes big shout out to Mris who in my absence helped keep SARS alive. Hope you all enjoy my updates to this UI and if you ever have any suggestions, feel free to make them, I won't be able to accommodate all requests but it's good to know what players are looking for. Thanks and long live SARS!! also Deusama = Danladil
Wait, what? Wasn't the original creator Sarsippius Smith from Emarr server? From around PoP era, iirc. Not to discredit anyone else that's taken over, or helped with, SARS. I'm eternally grateful, EQ wouldn't be the same for me without it.
Correct I am not the original author of this UI. Sarsipius Smith who retired in July 2004 (http://www.eqinterface.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14645) gave control to Bonecracka and the SARS team (there were a couple) and they stopped supporting SARS 9-14-2004 http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/index.php?cid=57 I have been maintaining this UI since then, I take no credit or ever have of being original author. I have tried to keep the same feel and spirit of the UI and have thrown in many of my own designs and coding over the last 13 years of keeping it alive.
While the original version of sars was great, the code changes you have added over the past 13 years has made Sars what it is today.. its like the old Paradox of the grandfathers axe.. "if your grandfather gives you his axe, then the blade breaks and you go replace it, then later the handle breaks and you go replace it too, since you have at different stages replaced every piece of the axe .. is it still your grandathers axe? Anyways like I said no discredit to the original designers, But major thanks for your 13 yeas + the help from Mris Long live SARS!
