Hey all, Been wracking my brain trying to decide which weapon i should make for my offhand, and can't make a decision!! Deciding between Ascending Sun Sword and Ascending Sun Saber. I know the sword has a slightly better ratio, but with some of our abilities giving a slight piercing boost, the saber may parse better. Just looking for thoughts! Thanks!
pro move would be /testcopying with your Exalted Muhbis, crafting one weapon for parsing versus an appropriate test dummy (5500ac last I heard?) , then re-/testcopying to do the other may be more work than you're down for, but it's an option available to all
Looking at the top magelo profiles rogues, which include many high end tier raiding guild rogues, they are all using the saber in offhand.
Personally I use dual piercing weapons on my rogue (Sabre offhand) because of vanishing point familiar and eye patch illusion
10 min parse. 6K dps gain with the piercer in offhand over the 1HS with better ratio. Combat dummy approved.
