It's best to go through the main quest line first instead of doing the subquests because bosses along the way can drop the completed subquest items, i.e. Renux can drop Jagged Diamond Dagger and General can drop Cazic's Quill. Also, Gigantic Zwiehander from Karg is tradeable so you could check the bazaar as well if you end up needing to do the weapon subquest. If you end up needing to do the robe subquest, best way for Shining Metallic robe is Yendar in Steamfont and Coercer in Kithicor can drop Kedge and Ishva robes as an alternative to 12 hour spawn time on Phinigel for Kedge robe.
