    True. But the people who hate on Overseer also tend to be the same people who say the missions are too hard. Average Joe can use Overseer to catch up in levels and power (e.g. hit Level 118-120 for a better pet or discs/spells to do missions).

    The argument that completing quests in the new expansion is granting a meaningful amount of experience is correct.
    But it is simply due to the lack of content.
    There are achievements you get after doing the partisans or hunter tasks.
    They used to be more demanding because of the number of quest needed to complete them.
    In the last expansion you trigger those with one or two quests.
    It is obviously not a design choice but simply a consequence of the emptiness of the expansion.

    Lack of content? Overseer has even less content and you can be done for the day in minutes.

    As a casual gamer that doesn’t even log every day but rather once or twice a week.
    This overseer system is as appealing to me as doing chores.
    Usually before logging i plan what i want to achieve.
    Could be exploring a dungeon, or most likely doing quests.
